Moving can be a frantic time trying to get into one home and out of another within a sometimes short time frame.  We understand that at Henderson Realty and want to assist in making the process as smooth and painless as possible.  Please review the move-in & move-out procedures to assure that you know what to do during this crunch time. 

Move-In
When you come to pick up your key you need to have with you:

Before moving into your new abode, you will need to complete a personal inspection of the property and list the condition of the property at time of move-in.  This is done to protect you, because you will be responsible for the condition of the property when you move-out and anything not noted in the move-in inspection will reflect upon you.  Click here for a copy of move-in inspection list.


Move-Out
When it is time for you to move out you will need to schedule a move-out inspection with Henderson Realty.  We will come and look over your property with you to make sure it is in good condition for the next renter.  You will be responsible for having it thoroughly cleaned and repairing any damage that may have occured during your occupancy.  If there are any repairs or cleaning that needs to be done it will be taken from your security deposit.  If everything is in order you will receive your full security deposit back.  Please note: Security deposits are mailed to tenants after their move-out has been processed. You must provide us with a self-addressed stamped LEGAL SIZE envelope in order for the refund of your deposit to be mailed.  Please remember to allow 30 days for your refund to be processed.
